Libby Parsons' Landscapes Solo Art Show at the Naramata Heritage Inn
I am delighted to have been asked back to the Naramata Heritage Inn again this summer from May to October. I will have a solo show again with 20 to 25 paintings. The Inn is a wonderful building to visit, there is a great new restaurant opening called 1908 and of course the artwork . . . !
The month in Saskatchewan flew by. I had an incredible time familiarizing myself with the amazing landscapes of the eastern Cypress Hills and particularly the Frenchman River Valley - long roads that went on forever, interesting clay hills and badlands, huge skies which could change in a few moments from blue to stormy. I learned lots of painting with oils - a big learning curve and some frustrations along the way. I met wonderful local people who were so welcoming. At the end of my stay, I had an open house and sale of the paintings I had produced.
If you are visiting Osoyoos, I have a display of some of my prairie art at the Okanagan Art Gallery at 8302 Main Street.
